Open message about bug/problem reports

I'm going to set this as a sticky message: if you have any questions/problems/feature requests/bugs to report then
- check FAQ first (95% of problems are covered there, including download issues)
- read Tutorial carefully
- read the forums using "search" facility (you don't have to be registered there). There are so many users of AutoGK, that you are bound to have someone who encountered the same issue before.
- if no luck then please register at the forum and post it there. You are not only helping by reporting it but also by building up a knowledge base for next generation of users.

Please DO NOT POST ANY BUG REPORTS AS COMMENTS on this website or mail me about them. Its going to be ignored anyway Thank you.

Download mirrors down!

As you may noticed some of my mirrors are down. Download demand is as high as never, so under these conditions I won't be able to release any updates, so if you have a good traffic to spare (100Gb+/month) please contact me at the forum.

Please do not suggest P2P or linking to other download sites. Thanks.

Updated tutorial translations

As we're getting closer to stable release tutorial was updated to reflect changes in the latest betas. Several translations were updated as well. Currently there are French and Polish translations that are outdated, so please contact me (or leave your email address here) if you want to update them or if you want to make a new translation to your native language. Thanks.

Version 1.90 beta is out

Quite a bit of stuff is fixed and improved. Hopefully this has an RC status for the stable release. Change log:

- split of AVI files is adjusted a bit to prevent small undersize of the first CD
- cosmetic GUI changes
- DGIndex is updated to version 1.2.0 RC3
- added check for unsupported MPEG-1 files
- file mode is working under win9x (and even DVD mode compatibility with win9x is improved)
- fixed bug in parsing of TS (again)
- added ".colorcorrection" hidden option (see hidden_options.txt for more info)
- installer deletes saved AutoGK settings

Future development of AutoGK

Those who read development forum already know that I was looking for a new strategy of developing AutoGK. Now I have it ready. Read here for detail description of the idea and my motivation for it. Basically no more major features will be implemented unless donations cover its development. I have a new small test milestone defined with these three features:

- DTS support
- external text subs support
- check for updates on startup

Once the milestone target of 200$ in donations has been reached for this milestone I'll get on with implementing those features and release them as they are ready. Lets see how this new scheme will allow AutoGK to move forward. But I'm sure that if you guys want it to be developed further - it will be!

Bug reports

Due to large number of attempts to post bug reports on this site as comments I'd like to emphasize:please don't' do that. I have no way of solving problems if they are not reported in the forum, because I need much more information than your description of the problem or log file. Reports here are doomed to be ignored and don't be suprised if they are not fixed in new versions.

Finally another host!

Thanks to btotec, I'm trying out a new host. Website is now running on one of the download mirrors, therefore I might be expanding it soon. Please tell me if you notice non-working parts of the site. Thanks.

Website is back!

Another version of the website is back online.

I'm urgently looking for new webhosting server as this installation of the portal may not survive for long. There will be no updates of AutoGK software on this site until I find a stable place to host infrastructure portal (not downloads). Please msg/PM/email me at the forums if you can help. Thanks.
